DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 28, 2025) — The Quad Cities Chamber is hosting a Student Success Symposium April 29, 2025, 9:30AM-1:45PM, at the RiverCenter, Davenport. The Symposium will host 110 students from nine high schools from throughout the Quad Cities.

"This event showcases a wide variety of careers available for youth in the Quad Cities. We’re providing experiences outside the classroom to help prepare students for a rewarding career,” said James Porter, Vice President, Talent & Inclusion for the Quad Cities Chamber. “We believe creating a robust talent pipeline to effectively meet the demands of our workforce is important.”

More than 45 local businesses and organizations will participate in a hands-on career experience fair that aims to bridge the gap between industry leaders and high school students eager to explore diverse career opportunities.

Students will attend workshops on unlocking their potential, balancing mental health & career goals, creating a personal brand, building connections and high-income skilled trades.
