DAVENPORT, IOWA (November 20, 2024) — Join us December 4, 9AM-5PM, for a night of fun at our Grand Opening Event! Autistic and Loved, located at 3811 Harrison St, Suite 200, Davenport, is opening a Sensory Gym for children with autism and their families. This gym will serve as a place for children with sensory needs to have a place to play, be safe, and be themselves. This not only is a gym, but we will rent out this space to therapists in the area so they can be a resource for Autistic and Loved members and their families. We also have a sensory chill/calming room, a green house, and our Autistic and Loved gift-shop.

Autistic and Loved was founded by Dr Kit Evans Ford, after seeing that there was a need for more resources and products for children with sensory needs in the community. This organization started with selling FDA approved products for children with autism and it has turned into something so much bigger! There is a huge need for sensory gyms such as the one we are opening that give children with autism a place of belonging where they are free to be themselves, and have any and all resources that they need.
