ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (July 3, 2024) — Eighty-one Augustana College students were recognized at the Office of Career Development and Vocation's annual Viking Score Banquet on May 8.

Viking Score points are awarded to students as they complete career-readiness tasks including career exploration exercises, reflections with Career Coaches or skill-building experiences. Students who scored 100 points or more during their time at Augustana were invited to attend.

Speakers included President Andrea Talentino and Haley DeGreve ('20), founder of The Gray Matters Collective. The honorees also had the opportunity to acknowledge their guests and mentors who were in attendance.

The Viking Score Banquet celebrates the career achievements that students have made over their four years at Augustana. At the ceremony, students are recognized and presented with Viking Score Graduation Cords.

Alexandra Amacher, a Political Science, Multimedia Journalism, and Mass Communication major of Rock Island (61201).

Man Dim, an Accounting, Business Administration-Finance major of Moline (61265).

Daniel Ford, a Business Administration-Managemnt, Accounting major of Geneseo (61254).

Alyssa Macias, a Public Health major of Davenport (52806).

Celeaciya Olvera, a Communication Studies, Theatre Performance, Multimedia Journalism, and Mass Communication major of East Moline (61244).

Jalane Maiva Tsague, a Business Administration-Management major of Davenport (52806).

Olivia Vincent, a Communication Sciences and Disorders major of Bettendorf (52722),

Delaney Walsh, a Kinesiology major of Davenport (52803).
