ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (May 22, 2023) — Augustana College senior Evan Juarez, an International business and French double major from Moline, Illinois, was nominated to submit a “More Than I Imagined” profile by Dr Kiki Kosnick, assistant professor of French.
Annually, faculty nominate Augustana's seniors who have achieved remarkable academic or personal growth to appear in the college's “More Than I Imagined” series. Read Juarez's profile at More Than I Imagined.
Dr Kosnick said Juarez's undergraduate journey is a stellar example of saying yes to all Augustana has to offer.
"While pursuing a double major in international business and French, Evan also prioritized studying in France for a semester," she said. "I will miss Evan's consistently perceptive ideas about literature, fresh takes on the nuances of translation, and occasional anecdotes about work as a lifeguard (and DJ!). I'm excited to learn how Evan's future endeavors will benefit from his trilingualism, rich experiences abroad, and willingness to welcome diverse opportunities."
