ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (June 4, 2024) — Augustana College and Rivermont Collegiate will sign a guaranteed admissions agreement at 10AM, Friday, June 7, at Augustana’s Bahls Campus Leadership Center, 820 38th St, Rock Island.

The signing will be attended by Augustana President Andrea Talentino and Rivermont Headmaster Max Roach. Under the agreement, students who complete at least two years in good standing at Rivermont, a nonsectarian, college preparatory school for students two years through twelfth grade located in Bettendorf, Iowa, can qualify for guaranteed admission to Augustana.

“Academics and whole-student development are highly valued at both Augustana and Rivermont Collegiate, so this match is a great fit,” said Pres Talentino. “We’re pleased to strengthen our relationship with Rivermont through this agreement and look forward to welcoming additional Rivermont students to Augustana’s campus.”

Qualifying Rivermont students must meet a minimum 3.0 GPA for acceptance to Augustana.

Additionally, Augustana Admissions staff will evaluate Rivermont students’ transcripts in the areas of core subjects, including English, math, social science, natural science, and foreign language.

All interested students must meet standardized test requirements and complete the standard Augustana application or the Common App.
