American Legion of Iowa Foundation Funds Scholarship for Upper Iowa University

Dennis Soppe, American Legion of Iowa Foundation Director and member of Post 339 in Fayette, presented the contribution to UIU President Kathy Franken

FAYETTE, IOWA (October 24, 2024) — Upper Iowa University is a proud recipient of The American Legion of Iowa Foundation scholarship award program. Thanks to their generosity, two UIU students will each receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Recipients must be a veteran, spouse of a veteran, dependent child of a veteran, or active military-service person and resident of Iowa.

The students will be formally recognized during the UIU Honors and Awards Banquet, set for Saturday, April 12, 2025, on the Fayette Campus.
