What: Design Professionals Day on the Hill

Who: American Institute of Architects Iowa Chapter, USGBC Iowa. APA Iowa, IIDA Great Plains Chapter, and ASHRAE Iowa Chapter

Why: “Our goal is to connect with state legislators to serve as a source of expertise for items related to the built environment. The role of the architecture profession in the community is an important one,” said Executive Director of AIA Iowa, Jessica Reinert. “Iowa architects enhance the quality of life for both current and future generations. Livable communities, sustainability and quality design is vitally important to enhancing Iowa’s vitality and viability. Our legislative positions help to ensure Iowa’s prosperity.”

Who attends: Members of the participating organizations and Iowa legislators.

When: Tuesday, February 26 from 1-3PM
