DES MOINES, IOWA (March 22, 2019) — The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a traveling interactive “experience” that celebrates a century of civil-rights and liberties in America, and explores important topics like mass-incarceration and immigration. In Iowa, the exhibit will be set up in the courtyard of The Des Moines Social Club, April 11-12. It will include food-trucks, live music, and various arts-performances for a free, family-friendly, fun, and educational event open to the public.
