Embarking on a special national tour honoring the life and legacy of her late mother Naomi, Wynonna Judd performs alongside special guests Martina McBride and Little Big Town in The Judds: The Final Tour, the avidly awaited February 10 event at Moline's Vibrant Arena at the MARK designed to celebrate one of the most successful acts in country-music history.
Naomi and Wynnona signed to RCA Nashville in 1983 and released six studio albums between then and 1991, and over the course of their career as the Judds, they won five Grammy Awards for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and nine Country Music Association awards. They also charted more than 20 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including 14 that went to number one. After eight years as a duo, the Judds disbanded in 1991 after Naomi was diagnosed with Hepatitis C. Wynonna began a solo career soon after, although she and her mother reunited on multiple occasions.
During the course of her solo career, Wynonna has released eight studio albums, a live album, a holiday album, and two compilation albums. Her first three singles "She Is His Only Need," "I Saw the Light," and "No One Else on Earth" all topped the U.S. country singles charts, and "To Be Loved by You" also hit number one in 1996. Three of Wynnona's albums have been certified platinum or higher by the RIAA, and her most recent recordings include 2016's Wynonna & the Big Noise and 2020's Recollections, Additionally, Wynonna has received four Grammy Award nominations to date – three for Best Female Country Vocal Performance, as one with Clint Black for Best Country Vocal Collaboration – as well as a pair of Billboard Music Awards. In 2022, Wynonna was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame as a member of The Judds, a ceremony that took place the day after Naomi's passing.
Joining Wynnona on The Judds: The Final Tour, country sensation Martina McBride has sold more 14 million albums worldwide. She has also won the Country Music Association's Female Vocalist of the Year award four times and the Academy of Country Music's Top Female Vocalist award three times, and is a 14-time Grammy nominee. Meanwhile, the fellow guest musicians of Little Big Town have found their albums producing two-dozen singles on Billboard's Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay, including the chart-topping smashes "Pontoon" and "Better Man" alongside the top-10 hits "Boondocks," "Bring It On Home," "Little White Church," "Tornado," "Day Drinking," and "Girl Crush."
