DES MOINES, IOWA (June 8, 2021) — The Iowa State Fair Grandstand on Saturday, August 21, 2021 will now feature headliners Dan + Shay, who step in to replace Keith Urban, who had to cancel his show due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict. Special guest Russell Dickerson will remain the opener. Anyone who purchased Keith Urban tickets through the official Iowa State Fair ticket vendor, e-tix, will receive an automatic refund.

The Way We Live Award, in its 12th year of recognizing outstanding farm families, will award six Iowa families who exemplify hard-working farm values and a love for the occupation of farming. So far, the Way We Live Award has been given to 69 well-deserving Iowa families.

DES MOINES, IOWA (February 10, 2020) — As The Beach Boys mark more than a half century of making music, the group continues to ride the crest of a wave unequalled in musical history. The Beach Boys, synonymous with the California lifestyle, first performed at the Iowa State Fair in 1975. With a career spanning decades, it has been over 30 years since their last appearance in the Grandstand. The American icons will perform on Tuesday, August 18, at 8PM.
