Quad Cities holds Beloit to two runs over 12 innings Thursday to post its best eight-game start in five years

BELOIT, Wis. (April 16, 2015) - Center fielder Derek Fisher homered in a third straight game, and left-hander Brian Radziewski struck out six batters in four hitless innings to help the Quad Cities River Bandits complete a 6-4 win from Wednesday's suspended game at Pohlman Field Thursday night. In the ensuing seven-inning contest, right-hander Joe Musgrove struck out five batters in five innings, and second baseman Alex Hernandez hit two RBI singles to give the visitors a 5-1 triumph for their fifth straight win.

With their longest winning streak since last July 19-24, Quad Cities (7-1) has its best eight-game start since achieving the same record at the outset of the 2010 season. In Friday's 6:30 p.m. series finale in Beloit, Quad Cities seeks its sixth straight win to match the club's longest winning streak of 2014. Quad Cities also seeks its first back-to-back series sweeps in the regular season since Aug. 11-17, 2007, when it swept four games from Fort Wayne (Aug. 11-14) and two from Kane County (Aug. 16-17) in a six-game home winning streak.

Resuming a 2-2, fifth-inning tie from Wednesday night's lighting malfunction, Radziewski (1-0) began with a runner at second base and allowed catcher Argenis Raga to place a bunt toward third baseman Jorge Martinez, who made an errant throw to first base to put runners at first and third bases. After a strikeout, shortstop Yairo Munoz grounded into a fielder's choice, beating the relay to first base to allow the run to score. The run was charged to Wednesday starter Chris Lee, who finished with three runs - one earned - on five hits and one walk with four strikeouts. Radziewski retired the next 10 batters in order, including six on strikeouts, to take his team through the eighth inning.

Trailing 3-2 against Snappers right-hander Kevin Johnson (0-1), Quad Cities quickly tied and took the lead in the top of the sixth inning. Right fielder Ryan Bottger reached on an error by second baseman Trent Gilbert, and River Bandits second baseman Mott Hyde laced a game-tying double to left-center field. Catcher Alfredo Gonzalez grounded out to move Hyde to third base, and he scored on first baseman Bryan Muñiz's RBI double - his first Midwest League hit and RBI - for a 4-3 Quad Cities lead.

Fisher added his two-run home run after designated hitter Jamie Ritchie walked in the seventh inning. That was enough for Radziewski and right-hander Keegan Yuhl, who allowed a pair of doubles and a run in the ninth inning before recording his first save of the season.

In the regularly scheduled game, shortened to seven innings because it followed the completion of a game suspended before the end of the fifth inning, Quad Cities held a lead from the first inning to the end. Against right-hander Jordan Schwartz (0-1), left fielder Bobby Boyd hit a leadoff single to right field, stole second base, went to third on Fisher's infield single and scored when Bottger hit into a fielder's choice. In the second, first baseman Jacob Nottingham hit a one-out double to right field and scored when Hernandez singled to right field..

Beloit (1-7) scored its only run in the second inning. First baseman Sandber Pimentel led off with a double down the right-field line, went to third base on a flyout and scored when catcher Jose Chavez dribbled an infield single to the third-base side of the pitcher's mound.

Quad Cities extended the lead with Hyde doubling and scoring on another single by Hernandez in the fourth inning, and Ritchie walking, stealing second and scoring on Hyde's single in the fifth inning. The Snappers loaded the bases in the fifth to put the tying run at first base, but Musgrove struck out third baseman Joe Bennie to end the threat. Musgrove allowed one earned run on five hits with no walks.

Schwartz lasted five innings, allowing four earned runs on eight hits and three walks with three strikeouts, and right-hander Carlos Navas allowed a leadoff double in the seventh inning to Boyd, who scored on a two-out wild pitch. The 5-1 lead was held by Quad Cities right-hander Eric Peterson, who set down all six batters - including three on strikeouts in the sixth and seventh innings for his first save. Five different pitchers have recorded the five saves by the River Bandits this season.

Quad Cities pitchers overcome seven walks by holding Clinton to four hits in third straight home victory

DAVENPORT, Iowa (April 14, 2015) - Quad Cities River Bandits center fielder Derek Fisher homered for a second straight game, and right-hander Kevin Comer pitched five innings for his second win in as many appearances, while left-hander Albert Minnis struck out five batters in two innings for his first career save to finish the home team's sweep of the Clinton LumberKings with a 5-3 win in front of 997 at Modern Woodmen Park Tuesday night.

Quad Cities (5-1) completed its first series sweep since last July 26-28 in Bowling Green, and its first home series sweep since last July 19-21 against Lake County. Quad Cities last swept a series from Clinton (2-4) in five games at Modern Woodmen Park June 29-July 3, 2013.

Following four hitless relief innings in the season opener in Peoria Thursday, Comer (2-0) retired the first eight LumberKings he faced Tuesday night. He worked around a two-out walk in the third inning and back-to-back two-out fielding errors by shortstop Kristian Trompiz in the fourth inning to keep Clinton hitless through the first four innings.

Clinton right-hander Jeffeson Medina (0-1) until River Bandits first baseman Jamie Ritchie drew a third-inning, two-out walk in front of Fisher, who hammered a 3-1 offering from Medina over the Built Ford Tough Deck in right field for his second Midwest League home run, matching his total from his first professional season in 2014. In the fourth inning, River Bandits second baseman Mott Hyde hit a leadoff double to right-center field, advanced on a groundout by left fielder Sean McMullen and scored on Trompiz's two-out single into center field for a 3-0 lead. Medina was charged with three runs - all earned - on five hits with four walks and three strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings.

Comer started the fifth inning with a 3-0 lead, but after eight hitless innings to start the season, he yielded a leadoff single up the middle by LumberKings first baseman Kristian Brito. After a fielder's choice allowing third baseman Martin Peguero to reach first base, center fielder Arby Fields drew a walk, and a wild pitch moved both runners into scoring position. Designated hitter Chantz Mack walked to load the bases before Comer struck out shortstop Nelson Ward. With two outs and the bases loaded, left fielder Alex Jackson singled to right field to drive in two runs and put the potential tying and go-ahead runs in scoring position on the throw to the outfield. Comer escaped the inning by getting right fielder Estarlyn Morales to ground out to shortstop and preserve the 3-2 lead. In a five-inning start, Comer allowed two earned runs on two hits and three walks and four strikeouts. He also beat Clinton at Modern Woodmen Park in his final start of 2014.

Following Comer, right-hander Jose Montero began the sixth inning by walking catcher Wayne Taylor before striking out second baseman Gianfranco Wawoe and Brito. Taylor attempted a two-out steal but was thrown out by River Bandits catcher Jacob Nottingham.

Quad Cities added insurance runs in the seventh inning, when Ritchie and Fisher hit consecutive singles against left-hander Jarrett Brown. Fisher's hit sent Ritchie to third base, where a wild throw from left field by Jackson allowed Ritchie to score and Fisher to reach third. A wild pitch by right-hander Kody Kerski scored Fisher for a 5-2 lead.

In the eighth inning, Montero allowed a leadoff walk to Jackson and single by Morales to bring the tying run to bat. Minnis entered to strike out Taylor before Wawoe's single loaded the bases. Minnis struck out Brito, walked Peguero to force in a run, and struck out Fields - who had walked in each of his first three plate appearances - to end the inning with a 5-3 lead. Two more strikeouts in a perfect ninth inning finished the 5-3 win. All three River Bandits saves this season have been the first in the careers of Montero (Friday's win), right-hander Joshua James (Monday) and Minnis (Tuesday).

The River Bandits seek their best seven-game start since 2010 when they visit Beloit for the first of three games at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. River Bandits left-hander Chris Lee (0-0) is scheduled to face Snappers right-hander Brett Graves (0-0).

Nottingham and Fisher each homer in four-run third inning to give Quad Cities a second straight series win
DAVENPORT, Iowa (April 13, 2015) - Right-hander Brock Dykxhoorn pitched the first shutout start of the season for the Quad Cities River Bandits and earned the win with six strikeouts in five innings, and his teammates built a 6-0 lead through the first three innings on the way to a 6-2 win over the Clinton LumberKings in front of 1,010 at Modern Woodmen Park Monday night.
Catcher Jacob Nottingham homered for a second straight game, designated hitter Derek Fisher hit his first Midwest League home run, and third baseman Nick Tanielu had two doubles among three hits for the River Bandits (4-1).
In his Midwest League debut, Dykxhoorn (1-0) allowed a leadoff double to LumberKings center fielder Chantz Mack before striking out two of the next three batters to end the inning and begin a string of 10 batters retired in order. Opposite Dykxhoorn, Clinton right-hander Lukas Schiraldi (0-1) allowed a leadoff single to River Bandits center fielder Bobby Boyd, who was thrown out trying to stretch the hit to a double. First baseman Jamie Ritchie drew a walk, and with two outs, Tanielu doubled to right-center field but was thrown out trying to stretch the hit to a triple, just after Ritchie scored for a 1-0 Quad Cities lead.
In the second inning, Schiraldi walked left fielder Sean McMullen, second baseman Mott Hyde and right fielder Jorge Martinez to load the bases with one out. Shortstop Kristian Trompiz lifted a sacrifice fly to right field that scored McMullen for a 2-0 lead.
The River Bandits chased Schiraldi in the third inning. Ritchie drew a leadoff walk before Fisher blasted his third career home run to right-center field. Tanielu then doubled down the third-base line, and advanced to third base on a wild pitch. When catcher Daniel Torres threw past third base, third baseman Joe DeCarlo went to pick up the baseball and threw wildly to home plate, allowing Tanielu to score. Schiraldi was removed after getting two outs in the inning, having allowed five earned runs on four hits with five walks and two strikeouts.
Right-hander Rohn Pierce took over for Schiraldi, and Nottingham greeted him with a long ball to right-center field - his second in as many games against Clinton - for a 6-0 lead. Pierce then retired nine of the next 10 batters - walking Nottingham in his next plate appearance - to work three innings with one walk and five strikeouts. Left-hander Ryan Horstman finished the game with 2 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out two batters.
Following Dykxhoorn, right-hander Joshua James made his River Bandits debut to start the sixth inning. He began by walking Mack and allowing a two-run home run by second baseman Nelson Ward to cut the lead to 6-2. James also allowed a two-out triple to DeCarlo before escaping the inning. James did not yield a hit over the final three innings, allowing only a hit batter in the eighth inning and walk in the ninth inning. He completed four innings with three strikeouts to record his first career save.
The River Bandits conclude their series with Clinton at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Modern Woodmen Park. River Bandits right-hander Kevin Comer (1-0) is scheduled to face LumberKings right-hander Jeffeson Medina. Quad Cities seeks its first sweep of a series since winning three straight in Bowling Green July 26-18, 2014. The team's last home series sweep was July 19-21, 2014, against Lake County.

DAVENPORT, Iowa (April 12, 2015) - Quad Cities River Bandits designated hitter Jacob Nottingham came within a triple of the cycle, and right-hander Austin Chrismon tossed the team's best start of the season with six innings of one-run, two-hit ball in a 7-2 home-opening victory over the Clinton LumberKings in front of 4,139 at Modern Woodmen Park Sunday afternoon.

In front of the team's largest home-opening crowd since 2012, Quad Cities (3-1) won its home opener for the first time in four years. The last home-opening win for the River Bandits came in a 7-4 victory against Beloit on April 8, 2011.

In his Midwest League debut, Chrismon (1-0) allowed a leadoff single to LumberKings left fielder Chantz Mack, followed by a bunt single by second baseman Nelson Ward. On the bunt, third baseman Kristian Trompiz made an errant throw to first base, allowing Mack to reach third base with no outs. Right fielder Alex Jackson then hit a sacrifice fly to right field for a 1-0 Clinton lead. That began a string of 16 consecutive batters retired by Chrismon before a two-out walk to Ward in the sixth inning. Chrismon struck out three batters and was charged with one unearned run in the longest start for a Quad Cities pitcher this season.

Left-hander Patrick Peterson (0-1) held the 1-0 lead for Clinton (2-2) through the first four innings, working around two singles and a walk to strand three baserunners. In the fifth, however, Nottingham led off by swatting his first Midwest League home run out to right field to tie the game, 1-1. Two batters later, shortstop Thomas Lindauer's ground ball eluded third baseman Joe DeCarlo down the third-base line, allowing Lindauer to reach second base. A wild pitch moved Lindauer to third base, and he scored the go-ahead run on center fielder Bobby Boyd's RBI single to left field. Boyd then stole second base, and with two outs, left fielder Derek Fisher singled up the middle to score Boyd and reached second base on the throw home. First baseman Nick Tanielu followed with a single to left field and got all the way to third base on a throwing error by left fielder Chantz Mack. DeCarlo's second fielding error of the inning allowed right fielder Ryan Bottger to reach first base and Tanielu to score the fifth run of the inning.

Patrick Peterson was charged with all five runs - one earned - on six hits and one walk with three strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings. He made his Midwest League debut in the same game his twin brother, River Bandits right-hander Eric Peterson, also made his Midwest League debut. Eric Peterson followed Chrismon to start the seventh inning with a 6-1 lead, after Nottingham hit a sixth-inning double off right-hander Ramire Cleto and scored on Boyd's sacrifice fly. Eric Peterson allowed a leadoff double by DeCarlo, who scored after a single by catcher Adam Martin and sacrifice fly by first baseman Kristian Brito, cutting the Quad Cities lead to 6-2. Eric Peterson finished two innings, allowing two hits and one earned run with one strikeout.

The River Bandits added their final run in the eighth inning, when catcher Alfredo Gonzalez drew a leadoff walk, advanced to third base on Nottingham's single to center field and scored on a balk by Cleto. The 7-2 lead was upheld by River Bandits right-hander Ryan Thompson in the ninth inning, as he struck out two batters around one hit for his second straight scoreless one-inning finish to a Quad Cities win in the first four games of the season.

The River Bandits continue their series with Clinton at 7 p.m. Moday at Modern Woodmen Park. River Bandits right-hander Brock Dykxhoorn is scheduled to face LumberKings right-hander Lukas Schiraldi.

Third annual event brings all-time fundraising total to more than $33,000 for the Bandit Scholars Program

DAVENPORT, Iowa (April 11, 2015) - Nearly 700 runners and walkers set a new record for participation in the annual Bandits Race to Home 5K and Fun Run presented by Palmer Chiropractic Clinics on Saturday morning. In its third year, the unique bi-state race that ends inside Modern Woodmen Park helped raise more than $15,000 - also a new event record - for the Bandit Scholars Program.

Since the inaugural year in 2013, the event has more than doubled its annual participants - to 695 this year - and more than tripled its annual proceeds for the Bandit Scholars Program, which annually awards two Bandit Scholarships to cover the entire first year of college tuition for Quad Cities-area students. In three years, the event has raised more than $33,000 for the Bandit Scholars Program.

"We are tremendously grateful to all of the participants, sponsors, volunteers, staff and spectators who made the Bandits Race to Home 5K presented by Palmer Chiropractic Clinics the most successful yet," said River Bandits owner Dave Heller. "As one of the largest fundraisers for the Bandit Scholars Program, this event makes an impact in the lives of Quad Cities-area students, and it is a unique community celebration that is the perfect way to kick off another River Bandits season at Modern Woodmen Park!"

The top three overall female and male finishers received a medal and an engraved, game-used baseball bat. The top three finishers in each of the 13 age groups - (14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and above), were awarded medals, and all Fun Run participants received ribbons. All participants also received a free T-shirt and a free ticket to a 2015 River Bandits home game.

Danielle Berndt of Bettendorf, Iowa, became the event's first repeat overall winner Saturday, leading all female participants by finishing in 19:09 - setting the female record for the Bandits Race to Home 5K. She led all females with a 20:21 finish in 2014.

Jerry Lack of East Moline, Ill., was the top male finisher at 17:48. It was his second race title, as he led all males in the inaugural race in 2013 with an 18:01 finish. He was third in 2014 with an 18:02 mark.

Quad Cities capitalizes on seven walks to erase early 3-1 deficit and spoil Peoria's home opener

PEORIA, Ill. (April 9, 2015) - Designated hitter Sean McMullen homered and drove in three runs, first baseman Jamie Ritchie had a team-high two hits and an RBI on his 22nd birthday, and right-hander Kevin Comer pitched four hitless relief innings to help the Quad Cities River Bandits win a 7-3 season opener over the Peoria Chiefs at Dozer Park Thursday night.

After trailing 3-1 through the first three innings, Quad Cities scored once in the fourth and two unearned runs in the fifth to take the lead for good. All nine spots in the team's batting order had at least a run or a hit, with seven players having hits, and seven scoring a run. Center fielder Derek Fisher drew three of the team's seven walks against five Peoria pitchers.

Each team missed an early scoring opportunity. River Bandits left fielder Bobby Boyd led off the season by hustling out a double to left-center field against Chiefs right-hander Jack Flaherty. Second baseman Mott Hyde had a foul-bunt strikeout, and Fisher walked. Boyd was thrown out trying to steal third base by catcher Steve Bean. Third baseman Nick Tanielu reached when shortstop Oscar Mercado dropped a popup, putting Fisher at third base and Tanielu at first. But Bean threw out Tanielu trying to steal to end the inning with no runs.

In Peoria's half of the second inning against left-hander Chris Lee, designated hitter Nick Thompson drew a leadoff walk and Hyde mishandled a grounder by right fielder Collin Radack. Bean bunted into a fielder's choice that put runners at first and third, but Lee got first baseman Alex DeLeon to ground out to Hyde, who started an inning-ending double play to keep the game scoreless.

The River Bandits took the game's first lead in the third inning. Third baseman Kristian Trompiz led off with a sinking blooper that evaded Chiefs left fielder Blake Drake. After left fielder Bobby Boyd's sacrifice moved Trompiz to third base, right-hander Jack Flaherty struck out shortstop Mott Hyde but then threw a pitch in the dirt to Fisher, allowing Trompiz to score the season's first run.

In the bottom of the third, Drake led off by striking out but reahing first base on a wild pitch. Second baseman Darren Seferina lined a single to right field, and center fielder Magneuris Sierra hit a game-tying single to left field. Seferina scored the go-ahead run on a groundout by third baseman Danny Diekroeger, and Sierra scored on Thompson's single to right-center field for a 3-1 Peoria lead.

Flaherty allowed one run on two hits with three walks and three strikeouts but came out after warm-up pitches in the fourth inning and was replaced by right-hander Will Anderson. Ritchie then grounded a leadoff double down the first-base line, went to third base on right fielder Ryan Bottger's single and scored on McMullen's sacrifice fly to center field. In the bottom of the inning, Lee escaped a bases-loaded jam when Sierra popped out to catcher Jacob Nottingham. Lee allowed three earned runs on four hits and three walks in a four-inning start.

In the pivotal top of the fifth inning, Chiefs right-hander Fernando Baez walked Boyd, Mercado made an errant throw to second base on a fielder's choice, and Fisher walked to load the bases. Hernandez hit a game-tying sacrifice fly before Ritchie walked to load the bases. Bottger struck out before Nottingham was hit in the back by a 2-2 curve ball to force in a run and give Quad Cities a 4-3 lead.

Comer began the fifth inning and retired the first 11 batters he faced, only allowing one baserunner when he hit Thompson with a pitch in the eighth. The lead grew with McMullen hitting a two-run home run to right field off right-hander Zach Loraine in the eighth inning and Fisher, Hernandez and Ritchie hitting three consecutive singles in the ninth inning. River Bandits right-hander Ryan Thompson allowed one hit in a scoreless ninth inning to finish the victory.

The River Bandits continue their opening series in Peoria at 7 p.m. Thursday. Left-hander Bryan Radziewski faces Chiefs left-hander Austin Gomber. Pregame is at 6:45 p.m. on Real Country AM 1170 KBOB, 1170kbob.com and www.riverbandits.com.

Preliminary roster includes Astros' top 2014 draft signee, eight top-10 round picks, five 2014 All-Stars
DAVENPORT, Iowa (April 1, 2015) - Featuring the top position player and pitcher among the Houston Astros' latest draft class signees, the Quad Cities River Bandits will again have a talent-laden roster when the Midwest League season opens April 9. The Astros and River Bandits on Wednesday announced a preliminary roster that includes Houston's top 2014 draft signee - outfielder Derek Fisher - among eight top-10 round picks, as well as seven returning players, including Moline native infielder Thomas Lindauer.
Over the last two seasons, Quad Cities has graduated eight of the top nine and 15 of the top 30 prospects in the Astros organization, according to Baseball America. Five River Bandits from the last two seasons are already on the Astros' 40-man major league roster. Quad Cities is the only Class-A team to be represented by a current player in each of the last two All-Star Futures Games.
"The Astros have groomed some of baseball's best young talent at Modern Woodmen Park the last two seasons, including 8 of the top 9 prospects within the Astros organization, many of whom will be future stars," said River Bandits owner Dave Heller. "I'm excited for River Bandits fans to again have the opportunity to see the Major League stars of tomorrow here today at Modern Woodmen Park."
Houston's minor league system leads all major league organizations with four championships above the rookie level over the last three seasons, including the River Bandits' 2013 Midwest League Championship. Fifteen players on the River Bandits' preliminary roster played in 2014 for the short-season Class-A Tri-City ValleyCats, who won a third straight division title in 2014 and came within one win of a second consecutive New York-Penn League Championship. Five River Bandits - right-hander Ryan Thompson, catcher Jamie Ritchie, infielder Nick Tanielu, and outfielders Bobby Boyd and Derek Fisher - were 2014 New York-Penn League Midseason All-Stars.
Fisher, a Competitive Balance Round A selection (37th overall) in the 2014 First-Year Players Draft, is set to become the Astros' fourth straight top draft signee - following Carlos Correa (2012) and Mark Appel (2013) in 2013 and George Springer (2011) on a rehab assignment in 2014 - to play in the Quad Cities. After selecting first overall the last three seasons, Houston has the second and fifth overall picks in the June draft.
Seven other 2015 River Bandits were originally drafted in the first 10 rounds. They include the Astros' top two pitching signees from the 2014 draft, right-handers Daniel Mengden (fourth round) and Brock Dykxhoorn (sixth), as well as outfielder Bobby Boyd (eighth), left-hander Brian Radziewski (ninth), catcher Jacob Nottingham (sixth, 2013), right-hander Joe Musgrove (first supplemental round, 2012 by Toronto) and right-hander Kevin Comer (first supplemental round, 2012 by Toronto). MLB.com ranks Fisher (No. 11), Musgrove (No. 16) and Mengden (No. 22) among the Astros' top prospects entering the season.
Returning from appearances with the 2014 River Bandits are Lindauer, who became the first Quad Cities-native in 26 years to play for the Quad Cities Midwest League franchise, as well as Boyd, Comer, outfielder Ryan Bottger, left-handers Chris Lee and Albert Minnis, and right-hander Keegan Yuhl. Minnis and Lee were respectively the River Bandits Pitchers of the Month in July and August last season.

Modern Woodmen Park Ferris wheel to set a national standard for accessibility
DAVENPORT, Iowa (March 26, 2015) - The City of Davenport, Genesis and the River Bandits will set a new standard for accessibility by partnering to install a gondola which will accommodate wheelchairs on the Ferris wheel at Modern Woodmen Park.
Davenport Mayor Bill Gluba, members of the City Council, City Administrator Craig Malin, Genesis Health System Vice President, Corporate Communications, Marketing and Advocacy, Ken Croken, and River Bandits general manager Andrew Chesser made the partnership announcement  at a press conference Thursday at Modern Woodmen Park.
"Modern Woodmen Park has been named the best park in all of minor league baseball. We want everyone to fully experience everything the park has to offer,'' Gluba said. "This announcement is possible today because of a private-public partnership between the River Bandits ownership, Genesis and the city.''
"Everyone should be able to enjoy one of the best attractions the Quad Cities has to offer,'' says Ken Croken, vice president of corporate communications, Genesis Health System.  "Genesis Health System has one of the largest physical medicine and rehabilitation departments in Iowa and when we think in terms of the needs of our patients, this is a priority.''
The City of Davenport has contracted with McClure Engineering to design an accessible gondola, dedicated for use by two wheelchairs to enjoy a comfortable ride on the 105-foot Ferris wheel that opened in 2014 at Modern Woodmen Park.
"We at the River Bandits love to break new ground and set new and higher standards, and that's exactly what we are doing here," says River Bandits owner Dave Heller. "Together in partnership with Genesis Health System and the City of Davenport, we are setting a new standard for accessibility to a Ferris wheel nationally. People with disabilities in the Quad Cities will be able to access our Ferris wheel more easily and more comfortably than people anywhere in the nation. Working with our good friends at Genesis and the City of Davenport, we are all joining forces to bring the joys of baseball, amusement rides and memorable, family-friendly recreation and entertainment to everyone in the Quad Cities community."
The Ferris wheel is scheduled to re-open for 2015 in May.
