The four head coaches will appear in radio, social media, and digital ads, encouraging Iowans to #BeAVoter.

The process only takes a few minutes and can be done online with an Iowa driver’s license or non-operator’s ID.

DES MOINES, IOWA (July 16, 2020) Secretary of State Paul Pate announces Iowans registered the second-highest amount of new business entities in state history during the 2020 fiscal year. 24,481 new businesses registered with the Secretary of State’s Office between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020. The mark is just shy of the record high of 24,720, set in Fiscal Year 2019.

DES MOINES, IOWA (July 13, 2020) Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate joins the Iowa Developmental Disabilities Council in promoting National Disability Voter Registration Week, which runs July 13-17. The initiative is a nationwide nonpartisan effort to register, educate, and prepare voters with disabilities for the 2020 elections. Approximately 300,000 Iowans have a disability.

DES MOINES, IOWA (May 27, 2020) — Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate has announced 18 schools have qualified for the Carrie Chapman Catt Award for the 2019-20 school year, including Rivermont Collegiate in Bettendorf. The award is given to schools that register at least 90 percent of their eligible students to vote.
