Rep John Delaney and Lt Gov Patty Judge Tour Biofuel Facility

ALBIA, IOWA (May 1, 2019) — Today, Representative John Delaney toured Big River Resources in West Burlington, Iowa and discussed the benefits of value-added agriculture in rural America.   Rep Delaney was joined by Focus on Rural America Chair Lieutenant Governor Patty Judge, who has served Iowa as Lieutenant Governor and as Iowa’s Secretary of Agriculture.

Andrew Yang Tours Ethanol Plant in Rural Iowa

ALBIA, IOWA (April 26, 2019) — Entrepreneur and presidential-candidate Andrew Yang toured POET Biorefining in Gowrie, Iowa.   Yang was joined by Focus on Rural America Chair Lieutenant Governor Patty Judge, who has served Iowa as Lt Gov and as Iowa’s Secretary of Agriculture.   “I’m grateful Mr. Yang came to Gowrie, a small town in Iowa, and toured a POET ethanol plant,” said Judge.

ALBIA, IOWA (March 15, 2019) — Beto O’Rourke, former Texas Congressman and newly-announced presidential candidate, made a visit to an ethanol plant in rural Iowa on one of his first stops as he courts caucus-goers. O’Rourke toured Big River Renewables LLC, an ethanol plant in West Burlington, Iowa, on Friday morning.
