KENOSHA, WISCONSIN (February 5, 2025) — Nearly 200 Carthage College students traveled with faculty on international study tours in January including:

Annika Zemek from Moline (61265) traveled as part of the course Paris: A Capital Experience.

Catherine Wilde from Rock Island (61201) traveled as part of the course Southern Africa: A Sociocultural Journey.

KENOSHA, WISCONSIN (December 4, 2024) — Carthage College students participated in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) 2024 fall auditions. The Wisconsin NATS Student Auditions took place November 1-2, 2024, at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts. The following students were involved:

Trevor Milne from Davenport, Iowa, was a first-place finalist.

Josephine Winter Roland from Moline, Illinois, was a third-place finalist.

KENOSHA, WISCONSIN (December 4, 2024) — Kaeleen Smith from Moline, IL is serving as Senior Senator for Carthage College's Student Government during the 2024-25 academic year.

Student Government gives students the responsibility to work with administration and faculty to ensure a high quality of life for all students, academically and socially.

A Carthage tradition since the early 1970s, J-Term, or January Term, study tours allow students to experience new cultures and ideas without committing to a full semester abroad.
