LENEXA, KANSAS (January 15, 2025) The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 7 Land, Chemical, and Redevelopment Division Director DeAndré Singletary presented a ceremonial check for over $175,000 to the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) at its Curris Business Building in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

LENEXA, KANSAS (December 16, 2024) — The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced that Iowa Western Community College has been selected to receive a $478,474 grant to help recruit, train, and place workers in community revitalization and cleanup projects at brownfield sites in Council Bluffs, Iowa, North Omaha, Nebraska, and the Omaha-Council Bluffs metropolitan statistical area.

LENEXA, KANSAS (October 31, 2024) The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that the University of Northern Iowa and Iowa Department of Natural Resources have been selected to collectively receive over $500,000 in grants to provide technical assistance to businesses to develop and adopt pollution prevention (P2) practices in local communities.
