BURLINGTON, IOWA (April 5, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits scheduled game in Burlington on Friday night was postponed due to unplayable field conditions at Community Field. Heavy rains during and after the game on Thursday did not allow the infield to recover in time for Friday’s contest. 

BURLINGTON, IOWA (March 4, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits looked comfortable despite having to play their scheduled home-opener in a road venue due to flooding at Modern Woodmen Park. Nivaldo Rodriguez was impressive on the mound and leadoff hitter Ross Adolph homered and drove in four runs to spark a rain-shortened 9-2 opening-night victory over the Burlington Bees. The game ended following the final out of the seventh inning.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 1, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits, Class-A Affiliate of the Houston Astros, will open their season in Burlington, Iowa, because of heavy flooding and new improvements to the railroads, the team announced today. The ballpark itself remains in pristine condition, well-protected from the floods, but getting the players, staff, equipment, and fans in and out of the ballpark remains a challenge.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 29, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits have postponed the annual Quad Cities River Bandits Race to Home 5K and Fun Run presented by Palmer Chiropractic Clinics until Saturday, September 7. The decision was made to move the race from its originally scheduled date of April 13 due to flooding around Modern Woodmen Park and the race course on both sides of the river.

Davenport, Iowa (January 24, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits, in conjunction with the Houston Astros, announced their field staff for the upcoming 2019 season on Thursday morning. Ray Hernandez will take the reins as manager in his first stop in the Quad Cities. The rest of the staff includes pitching coach Erick Abreu and hitting coach Rafael Pena. The team’s athletic trainer and strength and conditioning coach will be announced at a later time.

Davenport, IA — A dropped fly ball with two outs in the seventh inning allowed the Lake County Captains to score the decisive run in a 2-1 win over the Quad Cities River Bandits at Modern Woodmen Park on Thursday night.

Davenport, IA — The Quad Cities River Bandits knocked off the Fort Wayne TinCaps 7-1 on Wednesday afternoon at Modern Woodmen Park.  The team rode the pitching of Yohan Ramirez and an opportunistic offense to their first series win at home of the 2018 season.
