The River Cities’ Reader 2023 Spring Photo Contest received submissions in three categories: "Prairie," "Oaks," and "Ethanol." Here are our winners and favorites. Thanks to all who submitted!

Ethanol - Third Place - Barry Miller

"Ethanol for our vehicles is produced from byproducts of crops grown on farms in Iowa and Illinois. In this image, most all of the vehicles crossing the new I-74 bridge that are creating the light trails from the headlights and taillights are running on a Ethanol blend of gasoline."
