DES MOINES, IOWA (January 9, 2024) — Governor Kim Reynolds released the following statement in response to a decision by the Eighth Circuit that upheld the constitutionality of Iowa’s 2019 and 2021 trespass laws:

DES MOINES, IOWA (January 9, 2024) — Governor Kim Reynolds has signed a disaster proclamation that authorizes the use and deployment of all available state resources, supplies, equipment, and materials to continue to assist Dallas County and the Perry Community in their response to and recovery from the tragic January 4 shooting at Perry High School.

DES MOINES, IOWA (January 4, 2024) — Governor Kim Reynolds ordered all flags in Iowa to be lowered to half-staff immediately on Thursday, January 4, and remain at half-staff until sunset on Sunday, January 7, 2024, in support of students, families, teachers, and staff at Perry High School and the Perry community.
