RIVERDALE, IOWA (November 14, 2023) — River Action will present the final quarterly Quad City Flood Resiliency Alliance Meeting of 2023 on November 16, 3-4:30PM. We urge the community to attend this meeting being held in the Community Room of Riverdale City Hall, 100 Manor Drive, Riverdale, Iowa. Flooding from local waterways affects the entire region, and we strive to include everyone in planning future flood mitigation for the Quad Cities. The event will be open to the public.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 23, 2023) — The Taming of the Slough Adventure Triathlon, scheduled Saturday, September 16, 8AM, to take place in the Sylvan Slough, on Sylvan Island, and on the I-74 bridge, combines paddling, mountain-biking, and running for an athletic challenge and an exciting race.
