WAVERLY, IA (07/07/2017)-- Wartburg College awarded diplomas to 270 students during Spring Commencement Sunday, May 28.

Those receiving diplomas include:

Courtney Belk, of Bettendorf, who graduated with a BA in American History Education and World History Education. She is the daughter of Kenneth & Janel Belk.

Michael Brown, of Bettendorf, who graduated with a BA in Engineering Science. He is the son of Daniel & Ann Brown.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — The Wartburg College Wind Ensemble will perform Monday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m., at Assumption High School, as part of its Midwest tour.

Cody Birely of Davenport plays percussion, and Mallory Weaver of Bettendorf plays clarinet in the ensemble. Free-will donations will be accepted at the door.

WAVERLY, IA (01/26/2017)-- Samuel Ambrose has been accepted into the Wartburg College Teacher Education Program.

Ambrose, of Bettendorf, had to demonstrate effective reflective components in teaching, pass the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators exam and complete several other requirements to be considered for the program.

Admission to the Teacher Education Program allows students to begin professional education courses in their field.

WAVERLY, IA (01/11/2017)-- Wartburg College awarded diplomas to 25 graduates at its Winter Commencement ceremony Sunday, Dec. 11.

Audrie Aden of Davenport graduated with a degree in Elementary Education . She is the daughter of Douglas & Carol A. Aden.
