SCOTT COUNTY PARK ARCHERY CONTROLLED DEER HUNT

The Scott County Conservation Board has approved a special deer hunt for archery hunters only from October 14, 2017 through January 10, 2018 at Scott County Park. This hunt is only for residents of Iowa. Applications are now available and need to be returned no later than Tuesday, August 1st by 4:30pm. Glynn's Creek 25th Anniversary Celebration

The Scott County Conservation Board and Glynns Creek Golf Course will be conducting a brief ceremony to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the opening of Glynns Creek, which occurred on July 1,  1992. The ceremony will take place on Friday, June 30th at 10:30 am followed by an invitation only luncheon at 11:00 am.

WEST LAKE PARK ROAD CLOSURE for the QC TRIATHLON

The Scott County Conservation Board will be hosting the QC Triathlon on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at West Lake Park. Roads going into and out of the park, to include 110th Ave, will be closed at times to traffic during the race. The race starts at 7:00am and the park is normally clear by noon. Summit Campground (located in Gate #1) is used for parking participants and spectators, along with all other available parking.

Scott County Park Pool Ribbon Cutting & Tour

The Scott County Conservation Board and County Board of Supervisors will be conducting a joint ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the final construction phase of a multi-year renovation of the Scott County Park Pool.

The Conservation Board would like to take this opportunity to show their appreciation and recognition for all the funding, support, and hard work that has gone into this unique renovation project.

The Scott County Conservation Board announces the opening and hours for the Scott County Park Pool and West Lake Park Beach and Boathouse SCOTT COUNTY PARK POOL: The Scott County Park Pool will be open May 27th – May 29th Memorial Day weekend only.
