ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (April 16, 2025) — The YWCA Quad Cities is proud to announce the upcoming BIPOC Maternal Health Fair, a free community event dedicated to supporting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) families. The fair will take place on Saturday, June 14, 1-4PM, at the YWCA Quad Cities, located at 513 17th Street, Rock Island, Illinois. Free tickets are available now.

This event is designed to address and help eliminate the maternal and infant health disparities that disproportionately affect BIPOC women and families. Together, we can work toward ending BIPOC maternal and infant mortalities.

This event will feature:

-Presentations by health-care professionals on pregnancy and parenting-related topics

-Basic health screenings

-Aquanatal yoga demonstrations

-Resource booths

-Maternity photos

-Refreshments

-Financial literacy workshops

-Wrap-around services

-Giveaways and prizes

-Interactive activities

-and more!
