DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 10, 2025) — A press conference announcing Ride the Island, a new family bike ride on Arsenal Island on Father’s Day, June 15, 2025, will be held, April 15, 10AM, at the Quad City Times parking lot, Davenport, headquarters and start for the Father’s Day ride.
Ride the Island celebrates fathers and our beautiful Arsenal Island trails at the same time it celebrates 250 years of the United States Army.
There will be distribution of route maps, announcement of tours at iconic landmarks and historic buildings on the Island, and more.
A press packet will be available on arrival.
There will be an opportunity to interview ride organizers and sponsors.
