MOLINE, ILLINOIS (March 6, 2025) — Join UK travel/relocation consultant and former UK resident Claire Evans for a delightful culinary tour of the UK inspired by The Great British Baking Show television series, which aired on PBS and Netflix. Evans will be at the Butterworth Center (1105 8 Street, Moline) on March 23, 3PM.

Learn about making a proper cup of tea, regional specialties, their origins, and the particular parts of the UK they hail from. She’ll translate the trickiest parts of British recipes for Americans so you can try them in your own kitchen.

Learn more about Claire at teawithclaire.com. Join us for a cup of tea and other refreshments following the program in the Butterworth dining room.

No reservations are needed to attend.

The event is funded by the William Butterworth Foundation, manager of both Butterworth Center (1105 8 Street, Moline, Illinois 61265), and Deere-Wiman House (817 11 Avenue, Moline). No charge for admission.
