WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (March 3, 2025) — The Iowa Sports Foundation is excited to announce that registration is officially open for the 2025 Iowa Senior Games presented by Edencrest.
Taking place on June 4-8, the Iowa Senior Games (ISG) are an Olympic-style sports festival for Iowans who are at least fifty years of age. The ISG offers opportunities to compete in thirty sports and skills contests with nearly 100 events.
Please join us for athletic/recreational games focusing on fellowship in a fun and exciting environment. Age groups are broken into five-year brackets (50-54/55-59/etc) with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals awarded for each age group.
Physical activity can improve quality of life in many ways for people of all ages. Since 1987, the Iowa Senior Games has worked to promote wellness and healthy living for adults fifty and above by hosting athletic, recreational, and socially-interactive competitions. We strive to encourage eligible participants in a healthy and fitness-oriented lifestyle by providing a forum in which to compete with themselves and their peers in an atmosphere of friendship and support and receive recognition for their efforts and achievements.
