LANHAM, MARYLAND (November 27, 2024) — For #GivingTuesday, Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS), Air Force Aid Society (AFAS), Army Emergency Relief (AER), and Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA) have joined forces to raise critical funds to help service-members and their families with emergency relief, financial assistance, and educational support.

This year’s theme, entitled #MissionGIVE, will unfold across social-media platforms on #GivingTuesday, December 3, 2024. The mission, should the public choose to accept it, is to secure essential funds to provide service-members and their families around the world with vital emergency relief, financial support, and educational resources. Supporters are encouraged to visit MissionGIVE.us where they can allocate their contributions to one of the four military-aid societies.

  • Centered around #GivingTuesday the four organizations have joined forces to raise funds for those they serve.
  • With uncertainty associated with such factors as global conflict, potential for natural disasters, and other variables, the military-aid societies need the support of the American people now more than ever.
  • Military life presents unique challenges such as frequent transfers and moves, which add significant incremental costs to overall daily living, in addition to the emotional toll of frequent moves.
  • Lockheed Martin will match every gift made on #GivingTuesday, up to $1 million.
  • Visit MissionGIVE.us to learn more and/or donate to any of the organizations.
  • Four Congressionally-sanctioned 501c3 military-aid societies help more than 2.5 million service-members, families, and qualified retirees in financial need.
  • All four military aid societies are four-star Charity Navigator-rated non-profit organizations.
  • #GivingTuesday started in 2012 as a global day of giving and has inspired hundreds of millions of people to support the causes most important to them.
