DES MOINES, IOWA (November 16, 2024) — From the very start, Fairgoers have cherished souvenirs from their visits to the iconic Iowa State Fair. The Blue Ribbon Foundation, a non-profit organization, continues this tradition by offering a variety of souvenirs as part of our fundraising efforts. The Blue Ribbon Foundation is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the historic Iowa State Fairgrounds.

The auction features a variety of collectible items that celebrate the Iowa State Fair's rich history. Highlights include the Foundation's cherished annual lapel pins (dating back to 1993), seasonal ornaments, Isabel Bloom sculptures, vintage t-shirts, official staff-issued pins, and much more.

The auction will open for bidding on Thursday, November 14, 10AM, and will close on Sunday, November 17, at 8PM.

Fair fans and collectors can preview photos and descriptions of each item on our auction website: Souvenir.GiveSmart.com. To participate, register as a bidder, providing your contact information and a valid credit card.

Winning bidders will be given instructions on how to pick up their items or arrange for shipping.

Since 1993, the Blue Ribbon Foundation has raised more than $200 million, funding more than forty building-restoration and improvement projects across the historic Fairgrounds. Every contribution helps sustain the legacy of the Iowa State Fair for generations to come.
