With the theme “Still Partnering Like It’s 1999,” the event wraps up the year-long “Housing Matters QC” awareness campaign and reflects QCHC’s ongoing commitment to building partnerships that make housing accessible, safe, and affordable for all.

The event will take place at Mercado on 5th (423 12th Street, Moline, Illinois, 61265) on Thursday, November 14, 4:30-7PM. The event is free and open to the public. Community members are warmly invited to stop by to celebrate the incredible work that’s been achieved together and to continue the conversation around housing needs in the region. Guests will enjoy light refreshments, live music, and a cash bar featuring a special signature drink, with free drink tickets available for the first 100 guests.

Since its founding in 1999, the Quad Cities Housing Council has partnered with local organizations, businesses, and community members to tackle housing challenges in the region. Together, they have addressed critical issues such as affordable housing shortages, housing stability, and eviction prevention, ensuring that Housing Matters for everyone in the Quad Cities.

“This celebration is about honoring the incredible partnerships we’ve built and the work that’s been done over the past 25 years,” said Leslie Kilgannon, Director of the Quad Cities Housing Council. “We invite the entire community to join us as we reflect on our progress and look toward building even stronger solutions for the future.”

Whether you’ve been a part of QCHC’s journey from the beginning or are just learning about its work, all are welcome to come together to connect, celebrate, and be part of a community that’s committed to building a brighter future. For more information, visit the Facebook event page.
