MOLINE, ILLINOIS (October 2, 2024) — Visit Quad Cities will host the 2024 Major League Fishing Phoenix Bass Fishing League (BFL) Regional Championships will be held on October 10-12, 2024, in Rock Island, Illinois. This highly-anticipated tournament will feature four of the 24 divisions across the country, with 160 boats (160 anglers and 160 co-anglers) competing on Mississippi River pools 13-17. Some participants will begin arriving for practice days starting on October 5.
This event is free to spectators and is expected to bring a surge of bass fishing enthusiasts to the region.
The competition not only showcases the Quad Cities' beautiful riverfront but also the local hospitality, solidifying the area as a premier destination for outdoor recreation.
Anglers and co-anglers will compete for large cash prizes, with top performers earning opportunities to advance to the Toyota Series, Tackle Warehouse Invitationals, and ultimately the Bass Pro Tour.
The Phoenix Bass Fishing League offers weekend anglers some of the best pay-outs and advancement opportunities. Competitors in this tournament will vie for top prizes, including substantial cash pay-outs, and the chance to join the ranks of professional bass fishing's elite circuits.
