SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS (August 6, 2024) — The Illinois Chamber of Commerce congratulates Representative Eva-Dina Delgado for receiving their Bridge Builder AwardThe Bridge Builder is our newest award which recognizes bipartisanship and collaboration in the General Assembly. Today's release is the first of four to be issued this week.

Rep Delgado has served in the General Assembly since 2019 where she is the Chair of the Immigration & Human Rights Committee and serves as Vice-Chair of the Public Utilities Committee. Before serving in the state legislature, she held the position of the first Latina Vice President of Government and Community Relations at the City of Chicago and the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), where she advocated for local, state, and federal community needs. Rep Delgado received her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law and serves on numerous community boards.
