DES MOINES, IOWA (March 18th, 2019) — The Libertarian Party of Iowa will be convening at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30, for the 2019 Libertarian Party of Iowa State Convention. The convention will be kicked off Friday night with the annual Convention social, during which Daniel Behrman, 2020 Libertarian Party Presidential Candidate and anti-tax advocate, will be speaking. Saturday’s convention will include party-business, speeches, and the keynote-speaker during dinner. Detailed schedule is to be announced shortly.
Speakers will include Alex Merced, Libertarian National Committee Vice-Chair; Cara Schulz, Candidate Recruitment Specialist; Jake Porter, former Libertarian gubernatorial candidate; Marco Battaglia, former Attorney General candidate; John Phillips, Libertarian Party Vice President candidate and Libertarian National Committee District 6 Representative; Chris Ingstad, Iowans for Tax Relief President; and several others.
