Davenport, IA – April 25, 2016 – KWQC, Media General's local NBC affiliate in Davenport, Iowa/Quad Cities (DMA 101), announced today that it has promoted twenty year television sales and management veteran Todd Grady from Local Sales Manager to General Sales Manager.  In his new role that is effective on May 1, Grady will oversee the station’s local, national and digital sales teams and develop creative sales strategies in order to increase revenue share gains, client retention and new business partners.

Grady will report to KWQC VP & GM, John Mann, who said “I’m pleased we had such a tremendously talented sales professional within the station and I look forward to Todd’s leadership and expertise in helping more customers grow their business in his new role as General Sales Manager.”

KWQC achieved record high audited revenue market shares as well as increased the local and regional customer base under Grady’s leadership as Local Sales Manager, a position he has held since 2013.  He previously held sales and sales management positons in both local radio and television, including National Sales Manager at the local CBS affiliate.

Grady is a Quad City native with strong community connections supported by many years of service on a variety of organizational boards and committees.
