ROCK ISLAND, IL (04/22/2015)(readMedia)-- The Wennerberg Men's Festival Chorus participated in a four day workshop with guest conductor Matt Oltman. The final performance was on Sunday, April 19 in Wallenberg Hall. Over forty men from Wennerberg Men's Chorus, Augustana Choir, the Handel Oratorio Society, local high schools, and the surrounding community participated in the festival. Selections included "Ave Maria" by Franz Biebl and "Die Rose stand imm Tau" by Robert Shumann, among others. The festival was made possible by the generous support of the Meredith Foundation.
