(DES MOINES) - Yesterday, Gov. Branstad appointed Paul D. Scott as judge to the 5C Judicial District.
Scott received his undergraduate and law degrees from Drake University and is currently in private practice. Scott was appointed to fill the vacancy created by Judge Carla Schemmel.
The counties in the Fifth District are Adair, Adams, Clarke, Dallas, Decatur, Guthrie, Jasper, Lucas, Madison, Marion, Polk, Ringgold, Taylor, Union, Warren and Wayne.
