MUSCATINE, IOWA (March 28, 2022) — The Muscatine Art Center will offer two programs on the historic Japanese Garden this spring. The first, set for Thursday, April 7, 5:30PM, is an informational session on the rehabilitation of the garden. Director Melanie Alexander will speak about the decision-making process, the scope of the project, the roles of those involved in the project, and the project’s funding sources.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 28, 2022) — Scott County Auditor Kerri Tompkins announced that Tuesday, March 29, 2022 is the first day to submit requests for absentee ballots by mail for the June 7 Primary Election. Iowa law allows county auditors to accept absentee ballot requests no more than seventy days before an election.

DES MOINES, IOWA (March 28, 2022) — The State Objection Panel, comprised of Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate, Attorney General Tom Miller, and State Auditor Rob Sand, will convene Tuesday, March 29 to review challenges to several candidates’ nomination petitions. The meeting is scheduled for 10AM in Room G15 (the legislative dining room) on the first floor of the Iowa State Capitol.

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN (March 28, 2022) — Milwaukee School of Engineering congratulates students named to the Winter Quarter 2022 Dean's List. Undergraduate students who have earned at least thirty credits and have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher (out of 4.0) are on the Dean's List. Students who have maintained a 3.70 or higher receive "high honors."
