FAYETTE, IOWA (April 29, 2022) — The summer OAR (Orientation, Advising and Registration) Day season begins at Upper Iowa University's Fayette, Iowa, Campus Friday, May 13. This year's schedule includes both in-person and virtual one day events.

WAVERLY, IOWA (April 29, 2022) — The Wartburg College Opera Workshop will present two one-act operas, "Trial by Jury" and "The Old Maid and the Thief," on May 6 and 7.

Annette Baker, of Davenport, Iowa, will play Angelina the Plaintiff in "Trial by Jury."

The operas will begin at May 6, 7:30PM, and May 7, 3PM, in McCaskey Lyceum. All tickets are $10 general admission or free for Wartburg students with an ID.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 29, 2022) — We have quite the boon this weekend as the old homies the Artisanals are in town both Friday and Saturday nights and, as an added bonus, Mild High Club and JW Francis will be playing the early show Saturday night after being moved from Codfish Hollow. Mild High Club is bad-ass, and they don't play 200-cap venues, so take this opportunity to see one of America's great young bands in a small club.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (April 29, 2022) — In conjunction with Pay It Forward Day on April 28, 2022, the Ascentra Credit Union Foundation (ACUF), the philanthropic arm of Ascentra Credit Union, has contributed $50,000 towards the expansion of the River Bend Food Bank’s facilities.
