On October 19, fans of classic pop hits and iconic ballads are invited to the Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse for the Rock Island venue's eagerly awaited return of Salute to the Rat Pack & Friends, a thrilling concert event that will take audiences back to the showroom of the Sands Hotel circa 1960 through beloved standards including “Fly Me To The Moon,” “Volare,” “Mr. Bojangles,” and many more.

As the organization continues to mourn the loss of its founder Nate Lawrence, who passed away on August 15, staffers with the Polyrhythms Third Sunday Jazz Series are delighted to host an October 15 concert featuring Polyrhythms favorites The Mike Conrad Trio, with the team of pianist Conrad, bass player Katie Ernst, and drummer Cassius Goens III delivering an enthralling blend of improvisation, interaction, and expression at Davenport's Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Quad Cities.

A pair of acclaimed folk acts that each debuted over the past eight years will take the stage at the Raccoon Motel on October 17, with the Davenport venue hosting an evening showcasing the talents of Rum Ragged, the Canadian folk music group from Newfoundland and Labrador, and Adrian + Meredith, the Nashville-based outfit featuring the titular married musicians.

A favorite of critics and alt-country fans nationwide, acclaimed singer/songwriter Dale Watson headlines an October 13 concert at Maquoketa's Codfish Hollow Barn, his most recent album Dale Watson Presents: The Memphians praised by Holler Country as a "spirited, affectionate work" that "further confirms his love of a genre he will never abandon."

Their discography boasting such top-20 Billboard hits as Destroyer of the World, American Goldwing, VII, and All Across This Land, the Portland, Oregon-based country-folk rockers of Blitzen Trapper headline an October 19 concert at Maquoketa's Codfish Hollow Barn, their most recent recording Holy Smokes Future Jokes lauded by Glide magazine as a work in which "the melodies are all mellow but unpredictable, and the vocal harmonies can't be ignored."

Named one of The Diapason magazine's "20 under 30," an accolade awarded only to the most successful artists in their field, organist James Kealey enjoys an October 15 showcase at the University of Dubuque's Heritage Center, the gifted musician currently serving as the full-time Associate Director of Music and principal organist at Third Presbyterian Church in Rochester, New York.
