Moline Foundation Spring Grant Submission Criteria

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (February 10, 2021) — The COVID-19 pandemic continues to have a significant impact on the ability of non-profits to not only serve their constituents, but to effectively operate. Because of these on-going fiscal challenges, The Moline Foundation will continue to allow grant submissions for operational costs as well the traditional areas of program and capital.

East Moline Community Fund Announces 2020 Community Grants

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (September 28, 2020) — The East Moline Community Fund Committee has approved $12,850 in funding for 14 area non-profit organizations.

“With many non-profits seeing an increased demand for their services, the committee focused on helping organizations providing vital resources to area residents,”  commented Chair Connie Dowsett.

Partners for Good: Midwest Hope and Healing Makes Awards

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (August 3, 2020) — For 17 years, Midwest Hope and Healing offered encouragement and comfort to more than 3,800 breast cancer patients with the distribution of their signature healing baskets. Through the generosity of donors, Midwest Hope and Healing established a grantmaking fund at The Moline Foundation to continue their legacy of caring for those newly-diagnosed.

The Moline Foundation Announces Scholarship Winners and Surprises 29 Students with Extra $1,000

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (June 9, 2020) — Nothing about Spring 2020 has been usual for graduating seniors and college students. And so students were thrilled to receive an extra $1,000 scholarship award from The Moline Foundation in addition to the regular scholarships they won.

The Moline Foundation Announces Spring 2020 Grant Awards

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (May 19, 2020) — The Moline Foundation Board has approved $285,000 in funding for 42 area non-profit organizations. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic and for the first-time in 67 years, The Moline Foundation accepted applications for operating support along with the traditional funding areas of capital and program expenses.

The Moline Foundation Announces Spring Grant Deadline

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (February 18, 2020) — A spring grants submission deadline of Friday, April 17. 2020 has been announced by The Moline Foundation, a community foundation headquartered in Moline, Illinois.

Any non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization in a seven-county region including Rock Island, Henry, Mercer, Warren, Henderson and McDonough Counties in Illinois and Scott County in Iowa is eligible to apply.

Thank you to everyone for coming to our Valentine's Day concerts! I am confident to say they were an absolute success! We all owe a special thanks to the many volunteers who assisted with logistics, as well as the concert sponsor John Deere.

Underwriting is an important way to cover the costs associated with all our QCSO concerts, Youth Ensembles, and education programs. One easy way to publicly show support for these programs is to place an advertisement in the concert program books. There is one final opportunity left this year (Deadline: February 21!) and the rates are:

Full Page - $700 (full year $2100)
Half Page - $350 (full year $1100)
Quarter page - $200 (full year $600)
