CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (August 22, 2022) — Coe College is the only Iowa college or university to be nationally recognized by The Princeton Review in three crucial higher-education categories — Best Career Services, Most Accessible Professors, and Best Alumni Network. Coe is also the highest-ranked school for internships in the state.

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (August 15, 2022) Coe College has announced the addition of Donald Jaamal as the college’s Dean of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Title IX Coordinator. Jaamal will serve as Coe’s lead diversity officer. He was appointed by Coe College President David Hayes (’93) after an extensive national search and will be a member of Coe’s senior staff.

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (July 29, 2022) — Coe College is recognizing its highest-performing students as members of the Dean's List. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the term and rank in the top 10% of the student body. CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (July 21, 2022) — Nearly 300 students received degrees from Coe College this past year. The following local students earned degrees:

Anna Arvanitis of Blue Grass (52726) graduated with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education

Rheise DeTombe of Taylor Ridge (61284) graduated with a bachelor's degree in Exploratory

Heath Henderson of Geneseo (61254) graduated with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (December 10, 2021) — At the fourth annual Kohawk Startup, Coe College students were awarded $2,500 in funding to launch entrepreneurial ideas. Kohawk Startup is an innovative 24-hour event led by NewBoCo Chief Relationship Officer and Coe Entrepreneur-in-Residence David Tominsky (’98) that engages students through the brainstorming, pitching, and presentation process of developing their ideas.
