Churches United of the Quad City Area has received a $2,000.00 grant award from The Community Foundation of the Great River Bend. This award supports the Development and Stewardship program that Churches United has undertaken in order to continue to provide direct services in the Quad City Area. We are extremely grateful for this gift, and will use it to continue our missions.
Now in its 55th year, Churches United has a long history of reaching out to our community. Its 137 member churches represent 50,000 people from the Quad City Area. As well as 25 food pantries and 3 hot meal sites, Churches United also operates Winnie’s Place, a shelter for women (with or without children) who are homeless and/or victims of domestic violence.
