Due to the amount of calls we have received from many concerned citizens regarding ways to help with those devastated by Hurricane Matthew, domestic or international, Churches United is willing to assist this community with aid donations for the two agencies listed below.

For those who would like to send aid to Hurricane Matthew victims, Churches United will accept cash or check donations, through October 31 only. At that time, all monies received will be forwarded to either UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) or CWS (Church World Service.) UMCOR, a long-standing organization, continues to have a strong relief presence in Haiti, helping to repair the devastation of natural disasters. CWS, with whom we partner for the CROP Hunger Walk each year, also focuses on humanitarianism worldwide.

Donations can also be designated to apply to domestic Hurricane Matthew relief.

You may send donations to: Churches United of the Quad City Area, 2535 Tech Drive, Suite 205, Bettendorf, IA 52722. Please designate that the donation is for Hurricane Matthew relief.
