Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

Wednesday, April 26, 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. (two marches)

Rogalski Center patio

Men will don women's shoes for "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" marches, designed to spotlight the issue of sexualized violence against women. The one-mile course winds around the SAU campus.

The event is the last of several through which St. Ambrose and the student-led Sexual Assault Awareness Team promoted prevention, intervention and awareness during April’s national Sexual Assault Awareness month.

Earlier this month, the team conducted Green Dot Bystander Intervention Training, hosted an “It’s On Us” Pledge sticker drive and conducted a Take Back the Night candlelight vigil for victims of sexual assault.

SAAT members will be available for interviews on Wednesday.
