MOLILNE, ILLINOIS (October 28, 2022) — The Moline Foundation announces more than $61,000 in Fall 2023 Scholarships.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (September 9, 2022) — The Moline Foundation, Moline Public Library, University of Illinois Extension, St Paul Lutheran Church, EveryChild, and River Bend Food Bank are joining forces to offer an in-person simulation about living in poverty and workshop on SocioEconomic Differences on October 18, 2022, 8AM-12:30PM, at St Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (April 18, 2022) — Following a thorough review of applications by numerous volunteer scholarship committees, 29 students will receive $51,000 in scholarships this year from the various endowed funds administered at the Moline Foundation. This year’s scholarship winners include:

Alleman High School: Sophia Heim, D A R E (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Scholarship

Black Hawk College: Carley Whitsell, Ina Duncan Banks Memorial Scholarship

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (March 28, 2022) — In recognition of national “Vietnam War Veterans Day” on March 29, 2022, the Vietnam Veterans of America QC Chapter 299 announces the following 2022 scholarship recipients:

1. Angela Fuentes currently with the United States National Guard; and

2. John Francisco Saldana formerly with the United States National Guard.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (May 7, 2021) — Child Abuse Council/AOK Network, The Moline Foundation, Moline Public Library, River Bend Foodbank, and University of Illinois Extension are joining forces to offer a virtual simulation about living in poverty called $1,000 to Spend on May 18, 2021, 1:30-3PM. A follow-up workshop on SocioEconomic Differences will be on June 8, 2021, 1:30-3PM. Attendance at simulation is not required for workshop or vice versa.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (January 5, 2020) Join the Moline Public Library and The Moline Foundation for a series of three free virtual workshops in January 2021. Each workshop will last an hour with a half hour for questions afterward. They will be given by Ken Elshoff, who is a former GS-0201-12 Federal HR Specialist (Recruitment/Placement) with The Department of Veterans Affairs.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (Decembr 1, 2020) — The Moline Foundation is pleased to announce it is accepting applications for the 2021 Vietnam Veterans Scholarship for Veterans Chap. 299. This year, three scholarships worth up to $1,500 each are available for pursuit of either an apprenticeship, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or a certificate.
