DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 4, 2022) — On Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 0900, the Scott County Sheriff's Office will hold a Promotional Ceremony at the Sheriff's Office Headquarters at 3206 South 16th Avenue in Eldridge. Sergeant Tom Leonard and Deputy Eric Burton will be promoted.

On October 22nd through October 25th the Scott County Sex Offender Task Force, along with deputies of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Sheriff’s Office Reserves, members of the Sheriff’s Office Senior Volunteers, the Iowa Department of Corrections, the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigations, the Bettendorf Police Department and the Davenport Police Department, conducted a sex offender compliance check operation.

On June 15th the Scott County Sex Offender Task Force, along with members of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, the Iowa Department of Corrections, the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigations, the Bettendorf Police Department and the Davenport Police Department, conducted a sex offender compliance check operation. As of June 30th, the compliance check stats are as follows:

Number of Offenders Checked: 250

Number of Compliant Offenders: 234

On Tuesday, May 16, at 11:00 a.m. the Scott County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Patrol Headquarters, located at 3206 South 16th Avenue in Eldridge.
