AMES, IA (10/31/2017)-- A group of sixty student leaders in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences were honored for receiving the Fred Foreman Scholarship for Growth in Leadership Participation. The Foreman Scholarship is awarded to top students who serve the college through leadership roles as peer mentors, club officers and competitive teams with a preference for students in activities that assist in recruiting prospective students.

Iowa State University announces scholarships awarded by the College of Human Science to graduate students for the 2017-18 academic year.

Matthew Jefferson of Andalusia, IL (61232), has received the Catharine Maurice Carroll Graduate Scholarship. Jefferson is a graduate student studying kinesiology.

AMES, IA (10/12/2017)-- Mary Kirk of Davenport, Iowa, has received the Jewel Porter Scholarship from the Iowa State University Department of Human Development and Family Studies for the 2017-18 academic year. Kirk is studying child, adult, and family services at Iowa State.

AMES, IA (09/19/2017)-- The Iowa State University College of Human Sciences announces the 2017-18 class of Human Sciences Ambassadors.

As a Human Sciences Ambassadors, the students will represent the Iowa State University College of Human Sciences and present a positive, realistic student view of the college to prospective students and parents.

Macy Morrow of Muscatine, IA (52761). Morrow is studying Kinesiology and Health.

AMES, IA (07/19/2017)-- Students saw agriculture and the life sciences first-hand in several European countries, Uganda, China and Taiwan through various study abroad programs this summer.

AMES, IA (06/16/2017)-- The Iowa State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences' Dean's List honors students who were enrolled in 12 credit hours and earned a 3.5 grade point average for the term.
