DAVENPORT, IOWA (December 1, 2020) — An online meeting of the Quad Cities Flood Resiliency Alliance will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020, 1:30PM. The Alliance is open to the public and is a forum for timely and educational information on flood-prevention, -mitigation, flood-insurance, and floodplain-management.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 21, 2020) — Instructors from the Federal Emergency Management Agency Regions V and VII will be conducting a training class for flood-plain-management certification in the Quad City region January 28-31, 2020, 8:30AM-5PM, at Western Illinois University/Quad Cities Campus. The course, “Managing Flood-Plain Development Through the NFIP,” is being presented at no charge to registered participants.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (September 25, 2019) — More than 200 stakeholders who represent interests that range from agriculture, manufacturing, energy and navigation to tourism, the environment and flood control will convene in the Quad Cities Oct. 23-24 to discuss improving and utilizing the Upper Mississippi River and sustain the benefits provided.
