MOLINE, ILLINOIS (May 8, 2024) — On Wednesday, May 8, at Vibrant Arena at The Mark, 1201 River Dr., Moline, 66 high-school students from throughout the QC will sign to express their commitment to becoming apprentices at twenty employers in six different fields of work. Much like a sports-signing day, each student will sign their apprenticeship intention with their future employer. Doors will open at 3:30PM, with the arrival of students, families, and employers; the hourlong program will begin in earnest at 4PM. Moline Mayor Sangeetha Rayapati will open the ceremony and Davenport Mayor Mike Matson will close the program.
